How I Forgave the Man Who Killed My Husband and 3 Child - The Tai Ikomi Story

Is there room in my heart to forgive the man who killed my family in their prime? Does he deserve my love, my sympathy, or even my consideration? Are there some criteria he must meet before I bestow my forgiveness on him? These are the questions I asked...
The Need to Forgive and Be Healed

Forgiveness is not easy. Those who are victims of heinous crimes will bear witness to this truth. We live in a world of pain and hurt. It is an imperfect world. Accidents happen. Some are drastic. Some offenses are not so drastic but they hurt anyway.  No one can go through life without being hurt one way or another. No one is immune to it. It is part and parcel of our imperfect world.  Forgiveness, on the other hand, is healing. It heals the hurt of over twenty years. It shelters you from the pain you experience as a result of unforgiveness.  Forgiveness is more powerful than unforgiveness. It is more to be desired. It pays better dividends.Forgiveness is its own reward many times over.

a1 Have you been hurt? Again and again?
a1 Are you living with the consequences of the injury done to you?
a1 Do you find it difficult to let go the offense?
a1 Do you feel you cannot get over the pain, the hurt, the betrayal and the sadness?
